can Dr.bashar reform the syrian political situation????

We are really in crisis.that is not a joke it is an important part of our life.We used to see new faces everyday telling us that the reform plane is going to its goal but there are some of an old guards try to stop its eruption.At the begining we believed them and we drew our  own dream(each one was imagning how the syrian government and its political system will be in the future?).A lot of questions were formed until we found our selfs inside ocean without compass.i'm really disappointed from what i see every day and for that i have a lot of question which need serious answers. The first one is :

can the president drop his religious party  facilities?

the second one is : can he withdraw from the president position and practice policy as other parties do?

the third on is : can he stop his related economical positions and  let every one go in  justice race ?
